a little about me...

I'm most inspired while enjoying the outdoors. The natural world continues to amaze me with its beauty. I strive to capture this wonder in my art.

I enrolled in my first painting class as an adult in 1995. I continued to enjoy painting on & off until 2020. I was drawn to painting again as the world seemed to turn upside down. Painting and creating a world on canvas gave me a peaceful escape.

In 2022, I began my journey with watercolor. I love the meditative aspect of working with this new medium. Watercolor techniques have shown me new ways of working with acrylics and I now love them both!

I joined Midway Art Studios in Midway, KY in 2026. I have a workspace there and my paintings are available for purchase. I plan to host painting workshops there and at our farm Lavender In Bloom in Georgetown, KY.  I enjoy seeing others create their own unique pieces of art and draw inspiration from nature as I love to do!
